KNTC Vector
The launch site for a carbon-plate running shoe that doesn't exist. A testing ground for motion design and 3D.
Concept: this site was not commissioned by a client. It exists to explore and demonstrate a skill set.
Context
KNTC and its Vector shoe are entirely made up, and the site says so in its legal notice: nothing is for sale.
The exercise: step into the shoes of a sports brand launching a product, with its codes, its pace and its 'drop'.
What the site does
- A cinematic preloader and monumental headlines.
- Colour and size pickers, as on a real product page.
- Scroll-driven animated scenes.
Approach
Condensed, in-your-face typography, an acid green, a direct informal voice: the tone of a running brand.
Each section has its own animation rhythm.
Technical choices
GSAP and Lenis for animation and scrolling.
three.js for the 3D elements.
Static site hosted on Hostinger.
