Virginie Verrier Art
The website of a Lyon painter: a gallery of paintings and decorative works, unique pieces reserved by e-mail.
Context
Virginie Verrier paints artworks and wall decorations in her Lyon studio and sells unique pieces, delivered framed in France.
An artist's site has to put the works first and make getting in touch simple.
What the site does
- A carousel gallery, with a full works page (dimensions, technique).
- An opening screen with a progress counter.
- An FAQ: lead times, orders, returns, care of the works.
- A contact form (purchase, availability, question) that prepares the visitor's e-mail; About, Journal and legal pages.
Approach
A pared-back layout that leaves room for the paintings, and an opening rhythm that prepares the gallery visit.
Technical choices
Custom code, no CMS.
